Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble’‘ Matthew 6:34 (NKJV)
Here are some key points from the series titled ‘Do not worry about tomorrow’, to refresh our minds and to meditate upon.

God has NOT equipped you to worry about tomorrow, today.

Bringing tomorrow’s issues into today is doubling your issues/troubles. God has only equipped you to concern yourself with today’s issues.

Any action or decision made when worrying is always wrong

Worrying gives birth to fear. Fear brings torment

Worry makes you think the worst. Worry magnifies issues. Worry exaggerates situations.

Desire to banish fear and worry out of your life forever

Deal with issues on a day to day basis.

Focus on what God is doing right now. Write down a list of what God is doing right now.

Don’t get worked up on what may or may not happen tomorrow.

You don’t know tomorrow so it is futile worry about tomorrow.

Tomorrow is not your remit. Tomorrow is not within your jurisdiction

God is in control of tomorrow, so put your trust in God.

For you not to worry about tomorrow, master today and focus on the here and now. Make sure that you are busy with the job at hand. Whatever you need to do now is your today. Start doing it today.

When you are busy with the job at hand, you will have less time to worry about tomorrow

What you have today is sufficient. It is more than enough. Jesus says ‘Sufficient for today is its own challenges and issues’

The only certainty in the world is God’s Word, so hold on to what God says.

God is in absolute control of tomorrow so put your trust in Him. God is in control of everything. Anything that has happened to you in the past, God will correct it.

Your tomorrow will be better than your yesterday and better than your today. But leave it in God’s hand. Amen!
